Skip the carving mess and break out paints, glitter, stickers, and googly eyes for a pumpkin decorating station!

Haunted House Hunt
Set up Halloween-themed scavenger hunt clues throughout your home or yard. Add small prizes or treats for each clue.

Monster Mason Jar Lanterns
Wrap mason jars with tissue paper and let kids create Frankenstein, mummy, or ghost faces with markers and cutouts. Add glow sticks for nighttime fun.

Broomstick Races
Use pool noodles or sticks as "brooms" and have the kids race across the yard while dressed as witches or wizards.

DIY Candy Countdown
Make a countdown calendar with 31 little envelopes or cups—fill each with a small treat or joke for every day of October.
