December 2024
The holiday season is upon us, and at Legacy Built, we're embracing the magic of December with twinkling lights, warm fireplaces, and the joy of building spaces where memories are made. As the temperatures continue to drop and frost settles in, it’s the perfect time to shift our focus indoors. This month, we’re working on cozy home renovations like bathroom remodels, basement finishing, and custom interior trim work—ideal upgrades that add comfort and value during the colder months. If you’re dreaming of a kitchen that can handle the holiday hustle or a refreshed bathroom ready for guests, now’s the time to get on our winter schedule.
We’re also booking ahead for early spring decks and porches! Our design consultations are open all month so you can beat the rush and have your project ready to go when the snow melts.
In the spirit of the season, we’re sharing some family-friendly ways to bring holiday cheer right into your home:
December Holiday Fun
DIY Gingerbread Garland
Cut out gingerbread shapes from brown cardstock or felt and let the kids decorate them with paint, glitter, or puffy paint. String them together to hang over doorways or across your mantel.
Cinnamon Stick Ornaments
Bundle cinnamon sticks with twine and decorate with tiny bells, faux holly, or felt. They’ll smell amazing and look adorable on your tree!
Snowy Jar Lanterns
Coat the inside of a mason jar with glue and roll in Epsom salt for a snowy effect. Add a battery-powered tea light for a beautiful glow.
North Pole Mailbox
Craft a mini mailbox using a small box or old tissue box. Decorate it together and have the kids “send” letters to Santa all month long.
Cookie Decorating Day
Bake a batch of sugar cookies and lay out frosting, sprinkles, and candy toppings for a fun (and tasty) afternoon of decorating.
From all of us at Legacy Built, we wish you a season filled with warmth, laughter, and love. Thank you for trusting us to help make your house a home. Happy Holidays!
