June 2025
Summer is officially here, and Legacy Built is embracing the sunshine and longer days with a full lineup of outdoor projects! June is prime time for deck installations, screened porch builds, pergolas, and patio upgrades. If you're dreaming of hosting BBQs, lounging with a book outside, or just having a safe space for the kids to play—this is the month to get it done. We're also finishing up siding installations and exterior trim repairs before the July heat kicks in.
In addition to outdoor builds, June is a smart time to schedule roofing work. We’ve had clear skies and dry days—perfect conditions for fast, efficient roof installations or replacements. If you’ve been holding off on that repair, don’t wait until a summer storm forces your hand. We’re happy to provide inspections and quotes to help you stay ahead of the weather.
And of course, June brings Father's Day and the start of school vacations—two great reasons to create some memories right at home. Here are a few ideas to make June even more special:
June Family Fun
Father’s Day Toolbelt Craft
Let kids create a "toolbelt" out of paper or felt and fill it with coupons for car washes, backyard help, or movie nights with dad.
DIY Lemonade Stand
Build a simple lemonade stand from scrap wood or cardboard and let the kids run their own summer business—or just use it for pretend play and photo ops.
Summer Bucket List Board
Write out your family’s must-do summer activities on a chalkboard or poster and cross them off as you go—beach day, camping in the yard, ice cream trip, and more.
Patriotic Painted Rocks
Paint red, white, and blue stars and stripes on river rocks to use as porch decor, paperweights, or garden markers.
Sprinkler Obstacle Course
Set up a DIY backyard splash zone using sprinklers, slip-n-slides, and buckets for hours of fun and a break from the heat.
We’re so grateful to spend the summer building spaces where memories are made. From all of us at Legacy Built, thank you—and here’s to a strong start to the season.
